The Pro Se/Public Information Unit is designed to assist the Delaware Judiciary in expanding and easing the public's access to the Courts. The unit serves the courts by assisting with development of court forms, instructional materials and informational materials to assist the public navigating the judicial process. The unit also works with the Delaware State Bar Association to increase the public's access to legal services. It manages the Limited Legal Assistance Program, a program in which attorneys volunteer to provide free fifteen-minute consultations to self-represented litigants.

     Public Information services in the New Castle County Courthouse is also a function of the unit providing directional and informational assistance to courthouse visitors.
