We have been notified that citizens are receiving phone calls regarding owing fines to the Court and being offered the opportunity to pay them over the phone. The Court would NEVER call in this kind of situation. If you receive a call like this, please call the Court to verify if there are any pending cases and/or fines due. Thank you.

e-Filing in the Justice of the Peace Court

The Justice of the Peace Court has implemented a new policy regarding e-filing. Policy Directive 08-232 (1st) sets forth the criteria establishing who is required to e-file. The JP Court has also established a list of reasons that a filing may be rejected by the Court. Review the rejected reason list prior to submitting your filing to avoid delays in the acceptance of your filing. The Order amending Rule 79.1, allows the Justice of the Peace Court to implement e-filing procedures. If you fall under the requirements for e-filing set forth in the policy directive, you must complete our online video-based course available on the eFlex Training Modules page.

When e-filing, electronic payment methods will require that you either use a credit card or a Court Account Application.

A complete users manual is available on the eFlex eFlex Training Modules page.
