Hours of Operation
The Courthouse is open weekdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The Courthouse is handicapped accessible. If you have special needs, please call 302-856-5118 or 302-854-6959.
Public Policies
Portable Electronic Devices Pilot Program Policy
Cellular telephones and other personal electronic devices are allowed in court facilities, with restrictions, under a court pilot program.
Food and Beverage
No food or beverages may be consumed in any public area within the courthouse.
Weapons
Weapons are not permitted in the Courthouse. This includes pocketknives, scissors, chains on a wallet, nail files, glass containers, etc.

Take US-113 SOUTH / DE-1 BUS ramp to MILFORD / GEORGETOWN
Continue onto DUPONT BLVD
Turn SLIGHT LEFT toward ROAD 114 / NORTH BEDFORD STREET
Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto NORTH BEDFORD STREET
TUrn LEFT onto COOPER ALLEY
Turn RIGHT onto NORTH RACE STREET.
Sussex County Courthouse will be on your RIGHT.
Directions to the Courthouse from the South
Take US-113 NORTH / DUPONT BLVD
Turn RIGHT onto SOUTH BEDFORD STREET / US-9 TRUCK EAST
Turn RIGHT onto EAST PINE STREET
Turn LEFT onto SOUTH RACE STREET.
