ChildFirst Training
The ChildFirst® Forensic Interview Training, a program of the Zero Abuse Project, is designed for child abuse professionals, law enforcement, social workers, prosecutors, child attorneys, and forensic interviewers. The week-long training covers child development, memory and suggestibility, testifying in court, legal issues and preparing children for court. The training is a combination of lecture, discussion, recorded interviews, practice exercises, and a mock interview.
The ChildFirst® training was designed by child abuse professionals and includes recorded interviews with victims of child sexual abuse. The course follows the multidisciplinary approach and is approved by the National Children’s Alliance to meet accreditation standards.
2024 Training Dates: February 26, 2024 – March 1 2024
Registration will open on January 2, 2024.
