Reneta L. Green-Streett

The Honorable Reneta L. Green-Streett was appointed to the Superior Court of Delaware by Governor John Carney on May 26, 2021.

Judge Green-Streett is a native Delawarean, graduating from Milford High School in 1999. Judge Green-Streett received her J.D. in 2009 from William & Mary Law School and her B.A. in English and Sociology, magna cum laude, from The College of William & Mary in 2003. While in law school, Judge Green-Streett served as an extern to The Honorable Margaret P. Spencer of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court of Richmond, Virginia.

After graduation from law school, Judge Green-Streett served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Robert B. Young in the Superior Court of Delaware. Upon completing her clerkship, Judge Green-Streett practiced law at Young & McNelis, where she specialized in insurance defense litigation. Judge Green-Streett later became a partner at a large Delaware law firm, where she represented plaintiffs in personal injury and workers' compensation matters.

Judge Green-Streett is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association's Executive Committee, a past Vice-Chair of the Delaware State Bar Association's Women and The Law Section, a past Board Member of the Delaware Supreme Court's Board of Bar Examiners, a past member of the Delaware Supreme Court's Permanent Advisory Committee on the Delaware Lawyers' Rules of Professional Conduct, a past Associate Board Member of the Delaware Supreme Court's Lawyers' Fund for Client Protection, and a past President of the Kent County Bar Association. Judge Green-Streett is the Immediate Past President of the Terry-Carey Inn of Court.

Judge Green-Streett's present term expires on May 26, 2033.
