July 2026 Delaware Bar Examination FAQs

Answer: You must be in your assigned seat by 8:30 AM. The afternoon session will end at 5:00 PM. If you have received an accommodation, your start and end times may vary. Please refer to your Admission Ticket for your arrival time.
Tuesday AM – Multistate Performance Test (MPT) 1 and 2

Answer: Doors will be open at 7:45 AM for standard test takers. If you have received an accommodation, please refer to your Admission Ticket for your time of arrival.
Answer: There is no dress code for the Bar Exam. The Chase Center can get very cold. Be comfortable but we strongly recommend you wear long pants and layers.
Answer: Bar Exam Instructions will be emailed the week of July 20, 2026. Bar Exam Admission Tickets will be emailed on Monday, July 27, 2026. The Admission Ticket will provide your arrival time, testing room and seat assignment. Print your Admission Ticket. You must have your Admission Ticket with you for each session of the exam.
Answer: Yes, there is ample parking at The Chase Center.
Answer: The Board strongly recommends that you do not leave The Chase Center area during the lunch break. Therefore, you should pack a lunch for the midday break. Water, snacks and fruit will be available in the Lobby Area.

Answer: A clear or lightly tinted plastic water bottle – all labels must be removed. FILL THE BOTTLE BEFORE EXAM.
One clear plastic Ziplock quart size bag with your identification, exam ticket, car key/key fob, hotel room key without paper sleeve, cash, credit card, and menstruation products. Menstruation products will also be provided in each restroom.
Prescription eyeglasses without case. No META eyeglasses are permitted.
Laptop/Power Cord. If your laptop is equipped with a detachable keyboard, your keyboard must remain attached to your laptop during every testing session of the exam.
Your pockets must be empty.
If you do not see an item listed above as being allowed – it is not allowed.
No watches of any kind are allowed.
No hats.
No cell phones.
No wallets.
No writing instruments - pens, pencils and highlighters will be provided.
No sunglasses (including prescription) or META eyeglasses.
No external keyboards.
No electronic mouse.
No cooling devices.
No data sources (e.g., thumb drives).
Answer: Yes. There will be an open storage area where you can leave all personal belongings during the exam sessions.
