The Delaware State Courts will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026 in observance of Memorial Day. Justice of the Peace Court 11 (New Castle County) will remain open 24 hours; Justice of the Peace Court 3 (Sussex County) and Justice of the Peace Court 7 (Kent County) will be open from 6AM – 12AM (no new cases after 11:00PM); and the Statewide Virtual Hearing Criminal Court operation will remain available.

Limited Permission to Practice
Law School Graduate Employed by Delaware Nonprofit or Governmental Agency

A graduate of an ABA accredited law school who is employed by or associated with certain Delaware nonprofit or governmental agencies described in Supreme Court Rule 55(a) may, in the discretion of the Board, be permitted to practice in the courts and administrative tribunals of this State in matters involving such office or the clients of such program.
