Handgun Qualified Purchaser Permit Hearings
Any person who has been denied after applying for a handgun qualified purchaser permit through the Delaware State Police Permit to Purchase Section, or has had their permit revoked, may request a hearing on the decision to the Justice of the Peace Court within 30 days of the date of the denial or revocation. The form may be submitted to Justice of the Peace Court 16, or may be submitted to the nearest Justice of the Peace civil court location (including Justice of the Peace Court 17, Justice of the Peace Court 9, or Justice of the Peace Court 13). There is no fee to file the hearing request. At the current time, e-filing of these requests is not accepted.
